KiNG 3D is a rapper from Atlanta, GA. He recently released the 3D Theme Song with Diamond record producer YoungKio.
3D theme song is a bilingual track composed of English and Spanish. We recently sat down with KiNG 3D for some insight on the lyrics.
“3D stands for don’t do drugs. I was posted serving nugs. Bet you probably need a hug. Don’t be calling me a thug”
K.I.N.G 3(D) is an acronym for Kids, I’m Not God; Don’t Do Drugs. Drug use is known to be dangerous not just for its the unpredictability of the chemicals within the drugs, but also for the lifestyle that often comes with drugs. As a young person, consistent drug use often calls for faster money, especially when those drugs have distracted you from getting the education you need to achieve financial freedom, and ultimately freedom from addiction. Sometimes someone to dealing with drug addiction just needs a hug, or from a deeper perspective, they may need care and compassion. Drugs help suppress negative feelings, but they also typically suppress feelings in general. If we made each other feel good, the desire for drugs would surely gradually decrease. Regardless, we’re all in this together. Judgement upon one another and name calling won’t help us grow as a community and society.
“Heart so cold, I need more love. Thankful for my lord above, I been higher than a dove. 3D stands for Don’t Do Drugs.”
Everyone needs love. Loneliness and isolation leads to selfishness and darkness. Trusting God to put you in the best position for you is important when making decisions. KiNG 3D states in this song he’s been higher than a dove, but he doesn’t advise anyone looking up to him to do so
